Race Prep Shop Mechanic

📍 Brookfield, CT 🕐 Full-Time · May Include Weekends & Travel

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Mechanic to join our CMS team. In this position, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. Your duties will include inspecting vehicles and race preparation. To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic tools, services, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Conduct regular maintenance on systems and automotive vehicles.
  • Assemble mechanical components according to OEM and race specifications.
  • Examine vehicles and perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
  • Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of Porsche, BMW, and Datsun manufacturers is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

High Performance Automotive Machinist / Engine Builder

📍 New Milford, CT 🕐 Full-Time

Corporate Motorsports is seeking a precision-focused Machinist and Engine Builder to join our New Milford machine shop. In this role you will blueprint, machine, and assemble high-performance and competition engines to exacting tolerances, taking components from bare castings to fully balanced, dyno-ready assemblies. The ideal candidate takes pride in tight tolerances, clean work, and engines that perform flawlessly under pressure.

  • Blueprint, measure, and machine engine components to OEM and competition specifications.
  • Operate manual and CNC equipment including boring, honing, and balancing machines.
  • Assemble short blocks, long blocks, and complete engines for street and race applications.
  • Document build specifications, clearances, and torque values for every assembly.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive machining or engine building.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and machine shop equipment.
  • Working knowledge of European and performance engine platforms is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.

Bodywork & Restoration Technician

📍 Brookfield, CT 🕐 Full-Time

We are looking for a skilled Bodywork and Restoration Technician to join our Brookfield facility. In this role you will repair, refinish, and restore race cars, classics, and performance vehicles to a concours-level standard. From panel fabrication and metal finishing to paint preparation, you will help return every vehicle to the track or road looking its absolute best. The right candidate combines craftsmanship with patience and an eye for detail that holds up to the closest inspection.

  • Perform panel repair, alignment, and metal finishing on race and performance vehicles.
  • Prepare surfaces for paint, including sanding, priming, and masking to a high standard.
  • Carry out cosmetic restoration and refinishing on classic and competition vehicles.
  • Coordinate with the race prep team to deliver event-ready vehicles on schedule.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive bodywork or restoration.
  • Hands-on experience with panel repair, paint preparation, and refinishing.
  • Familiarity with European and vintage performance vehicles is preferred.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and pride in finished quality.
